Easy Setup - No New Wires!

Chances are, if you’re like most of us, you’re not a technical wizard.
Most folks aren’t. The great thing about the MiniTimer is that setup is easy and when you’re don’t you’ll feel like a techspert! You don’t have to rewire anything, and the home automation system is completely software-free. Forget about expensive computers and complicated software. The MiniTimer is so easy to install it requires no tools – and no new wires - at all.

	Step 1. Simply plug your MiniTimer into any AC outlet and set the clock by switching the Mode switch to “Set Clock” and use the rocking “Time” keys to set the time.
	Step 2. Adjust your Lamp or Appliance Modules to the same House code as the MiniTimer. You may need a screwdriver, kitchen knife, or the tip of an electrical prong to turn the dial.
	Step 3. Set the Unit code on your Lamp or Appliance Module to any number between 1 and 8. The combination of your Unit and House code’s makes your module’s distinct address. This way your remote knows which modules to turn on and off.
	Step 4. Set the Mode switch on the Mini Timer to the “run” position.
	Step 5. Test that your lamp or appliance is correctly working by pressing the “On” rocker key on the Mini Timer key pad that corresponds to the Unit code number you set for your Lamp or Appliance Module above (use the Selector Switch to switch to 5 and 8). Press the rocker key to “Off” to then turn your lamp or appliance off.

Timed Events

Timed Events are your version of a lighting schedule for your house. Imagine that you could tell your home which time of day to turn on and off the lights and appliances. You could turn on security lights at night, set your coffee maker to start brewing just before you wake up in the morning, set the towel warmer to toast your towels just before your evening bath. Use the MiniTimer to turn off appliances and lights for maximized energy conservation. You’ll have the time of your life.

What can I do with Timed Events?

Dim and brighten your lights

Lamp or Wall Switch Modules let you dim lights even if they didn’t dim before. Just press the “On” rocker key for the desired module then press the “Dim” or “Brighten” rocker key. Keep pressing the rocker key until your preferred brightness is reached. It’s that simple.

Come home to a bright house

Program events to happen every day at the same time. Set the Mode Switch on the Mini Timer key pad to the “Prog. Set” position then press the “Time” rocker key to advance to your desired time. Press the “On” rocker key to make a lamp or appliance turn on at that time every day and the “Off” rocker key to make it turn off.

Having a late dinner date? Need to catch an early flight? You can set an event to happen only once. Follow the directions above for setting an event every day at the same time then press the “Once” button within 4 seconds after setting the event. Easy.

It’s like having your own digital house sitter!

Make it seem like you’re still at home when you’re actually away for holidays, weekend getaways or on an island retreat! Give your home a “lived-in” look thanks to the Mini Timer’s “Security” feature. Program lights, lamps, TVs and radios to turn on and off a different times. Time will vary every day within the programmed hour making it appear like someone is home! Simply follow the directions above for setting an event every day at the same time then press the “Security” button within 4 seconds after setting the event.
